Give a General Donation to GFF
When you give to GFF, you are helping us connect kids and adults to nature across the state, enabling greater stewardship for forest ecosystem services, and increasing the economic competitiveness of Georgia’s forestry industry.
Get Your #1 Forestry State License Plate
When you register for a GFF #1 Forestry State license plate, you are supporting the expansion of our efforts to educate Georgians about working forests as a natural solution. For each GFF specialty tag on the road – new or old – $20 goes to the Foundation annually. Buying a GFF plate is easy, simply proceed directly to your local county tag office and request the Georgia Forestry Foundation plate (plate code: GB).
Donate a Virtual Reality Headset to Your Local School
Thanks to donor support, GFF has donated more than 100 Oculus Virtual Reality Headsets to 55 schools and organizations across the state.. With a donation of a Virtual Reality Headset to a local school, you can give back to your community while advancing working forest education in Georgia. The cost to donate one headset to a school or organization of your choice is $500. The donation includes:
One Oculus Quest II Virtual Reality Headset with access to GPB’s forestry education experience
Educator Training for leaders within the organization on the utilization of the resources
Regular Education Support Emails, providing inspiration and direction for educators on how to leverage the resources in their day-to-day activities
To make a donation to your local school, contact Education Coordinator Amanda Rollins at email@example.com.
Gifts of Stock
GFF can accept gifts of stock and other appreciated securities, including Qualified Charitable Distributions from IRAs. If you are interested in making a gift of stock, please contact Nick DiLuzio (firstname.lastname@example.org) for transfer instructions.
There are many ways to support GFF, but when you plan a gift to us as part of your long-term estate and financial plans, you help us achieve our mission of ensuring the longevity of Georgia’s 22 million acres of working forests. With your help, we will continue to grow and expand our programming to connect all Georgia’s to our forests.
