The Programs
Georgia Resilient Forest Incentive Program (GRIP)
Reimburses up to 75% of costs for practices including non-commercial thinning, prescribed burning, understory mulching, and reforestation.
10-acre minimum.
Invasive Plant Control Program (IPCP)
Pays $60 per acre (up to $10,000) to eliminate kudzu, privet, Japanese climbing fern, and other invasive species.
3-acre minimum on properties of at least 10 forested acres.
